“I don’t think there are enough positive things I can say about our stay at the Parsonage! I booked all four properties for my wedding weekend and it was absolutely the best decision my husband and I could have ever made. Not only is the house absolutely breathtaking but it is also comfortable and makes you feel like you’re right at home! It’s walking distance from everything you could possibly need and the best part it can house a lot of people (which was great for my wedding party and family)! Bri was super responsive, super pleasurable to speak with me, and made our stay 100/10!! If you’re getting married in Nevada city then you MUST book this as your stay! My whole entire family, the wedding photographers/videographers, and our wedding party will not stop raving about this place! Every single bedroom has a full bathroom which was important for all my girls!!! AND if you book the bungalow you can bring your little fur baby. My dog was our ring bearer and without this accommodation our fur baby wouldn’t have been able to be a part of our special day. ALSO, if you’re getting married at the Miners Foundry like we did it is just a short jaunt away! PLEASE STAY HERE IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU!!”

“If you are getting married in Nevada City you should really consider The Parsonage House. We rented the entire house and their guest cottage and it provided for a memorable experience for my husband Erik and me as well as our loved ones who enjoyed the stay with us during our wedding weekend. We were first welcomed with pastries, coffee and tea, which were enjoyed by all each morning. Each bedroom has its own charm with top-of-the-line bedding and your own bathroom. Bri and her family have taken every step to restore this beautiful property. And you feel that attention to detail in every room. Bri loves this property, this town and this community even harder so if you have any questions, she'll have the answer and if she doesn't have it she'll find someone who does. She wants you to feel the magic of Nevada City and this beautiful foothills community. We love it so much we're planning to purchase a property to call it our home too.”

“We stayed at The Parsonage during Thanksgiving week, and had the most amazing experience. Every detail was clearly communicated to us, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and answered every single question and request. This is a high-end property, with beautiful, time-period specific furnishings, which at the same time blended with modern luxuries and upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. The entertaining kitchen, dishware, etc, was exactly what our family needed to enjoy our Holiday. Very very highly recommended.”

“My wife and I recently visited Nevada City and stayed at The Parsonage, and we’re really glad we did. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for during our trip. We were welcomed at check-in by Bri, who was friendly and made herself available if we needed anything during our stay. The property itself is charming, and we enjoyed walking around the grounds and seeing the other rooms and cottages. Everything had a lot of character and felt very thoughtfully maintained. I’d happily recommend any of the rooms here if you’re planning a visit to Nevada City. It’s a great spot to stay while exploring the area.”

“What a lovely place to spend a few days as a family. We stayed in the cottage with our two kids and immediately felt at home. Days were spent hiking and wandering through downtown, while mornings started with fresh pastries and one evening ended with live music drifting in from the Annex next door. It struck the perfect balance of feeling both cozy and indulgent. We left relaxed and wishing we’d booked a few extra nights!”

“We stayed in The Cottage. It was extremely clean and well-appointed. There was a clawfoot tub with a shower in the room. Our room was very private and back off the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful, historic property!! Thank you.”

““Share details….” Well, details are the keynote of this charming home that is now a Bed and Breakfast. From the authentic and beautiful 1800’s furniture to the wood and tile floors with unique, woven period area rugs on them, to all the period fixtures—doorknobs, door hinges, wall hooks, faucets. Bri, her husband Huck and her father Randy have made the memories of the old new and vibrant. There were also beautiful, historic paintings (possibly linotypes) and mirrors in elegant frames. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and there is an aire of comfort and hospitality present in the room from the first moment you set foot in it.”

“Beautiful spot! Lovely ambiance! The grounds are lush, green and charming! We had a girls weekend birthday celebration there with catered dinner!! Delicious Mediterranean inspired fare! (Use that caterer!!) The dining room was the perfect gathering place for our festivities! Of course our rooms were cozy and comfortable. Loved the “help yourself” morning coffee service. The location is fantastic. We loved being able to walk out the door, go to restaurants, do some shopping (lots of cute shops nearby) and go on a hike. I would definitely go back.”
